It’s easier to create delicious low-calorie iced coffee at home than it is at a coffee chain. With this recipe, you use special syrups and creamers that are “diet friendly.” They add flavor and creaminess to your coffee without adding too many calories or too much fat. Make your coffee at home and take it in a “to go” cup, and you can also save about $15 a week!
Ingredients:
1 heaping teaspoon Taster’s Choice French Vanilla Instant Coffee
4 ounces warm water
1 ounce Sugar Free Vanilla Torani Syrup
2 tablespoons Fat-Free Original Coffee-Mate (liquid)
2 packets of Splenda
Lots of ice
Combine coffee and Splenda with water in a 12- to 16-ounce glass. Mix thoroughly to dissolve coffee. Fill most of the glass with ice. Top off with an ounce of Coffee-Mate and the Torani. Just 20 calories.
Another Reason To Love Coffee:
According to a recent study from the Harvard School of Health, caffeinated coffee may reduce your risk for Type 2 diabetes by up to 30 percent.
