Hey coffee lovers! There’s a National Geographic special that may just be of interest to you. It’s called Coffee Buzz and naturally is all about our favorite drink, coffee.
The show talks about the history of coffee. The fact filled show will present coffee from its discovery to the coffee craze that has swept the world. You’ll discover some interesting trivia such as the fact that coffee is the world‘s second most traded commodity. A good thing to invest in, don’t you think?
Then there is the discussion of coffee and culture. It is impossible to look at society anymore without seeing coffee as part of our lives. It has been the companion of many from waking to sleeping and in almost all of the various social gatherings that people experience.
A portion of the show will take a look at some of the major coffee corporations and cafes such as Starbucks. The gourmet coffee corporations handling of fair trade will definitely be a topic on the show.
