Some of us love coffee. We are always eager to try new coffee beans and taste the latest brew. We try to learn the art of coffee cupping and brewing the perfect cup. We’re most likely to have all the necessary equipment at home to start a small coffee shop ourselves if we were so inclined.
Some of us just enjoy the flavor. Coffee has a unique taste that we enjoy. It is delicious in any form.
There are still some of us who don’t really like the brew yet love the aroma of coffee. The smell of it as you hold that warm cup soothes away the anxiety of the day. It is simple magic.
The bottom line is, we enjoy something about coffee, even if it is just the jolt of caffeine. Most of us don’t really drink coffee alone for the sake of drinking coffee. It is about community. We gather a friend or two to sit and chat while we unwind. For adults, it is the equivalent of recess. A time when we can, just for a moment, have fun and take a deep breath.
We each have so many responsibilities that sometimes it truly is just the caffeine getting us through the day. Coffee keeps you enervated. A great cup of Barako coffee is strong enough to keep you awake if you need to burn the midnight oil.
It is also for fun. Relax, just chill and hang out with your friends. Have a date – you can actually tell something about a person from their taste in coffee. Try a new item on the menu and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in the cafe and your companions time. Savor the moment.
